My name is Rebecca Zirkle and I am a food lover. As such, I have struggled to balance my love of eating with my desire to be healthy. I studied public health at Brigham Young University and am currently interning at the National Institute for Fitness and Sport. My career goals involve becoming a registered dietitian and helping others lose weight and be healthy! I love being active- playing volleyball, tennis, racquet ball (although I am terrible at it), and competing in triathlons. While I try to be physically active, I have learned that weight loss is about 80% dependent upon diet. I am writing this blog to give others tips that I have learned about eating healthily and hope to be a resource for others who have questions about nutrition.
